vB 3.5.4 & PP 5.3 Integration

OK - I've installed pp5.3 and my users are able to access the gallery by following a link and they don't have to log in again. That's all good. So no I'm trying for full integration as per Michael P's instructions here.

The trouble is I get SQL errors in vB when it's looking for inc_features.php and inc_photopost.php indicating that they can't be found.

Both files exist in public_html/photopost and the vBulletin index.php file is in public_html/vbulletin. So adding the lines:

include('./photopost/inc_features.php');
include('./photopost/inc_photopost.php');

should work but don't. Am I missing something obvious here

include('../photopost/inc_features.php');
include('../photopost/inc_photopost.php');

Yes an extra period as the directory is outside your forum directory. That should get you to load the files correctly. Make sure to follow the instructions if the tables are in separate databases in bold.

This thread has a plugin if you dont want to edit index.php and use the vb 3.5 plugin system

Thanks Chuck - I was wondering about that. DOS I know really well but I'd convinced myself that 'somehow' this was different. I did try a full path as well but i guess I messed that up too.

vB and PP share the same database so thats cool - thanks for the warning though.

Just tried it - that worked just fine. ty

Chuck.. I have been trying this for hours... and uninstalled and reinstalled and continue to get an error:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare pp_get_ext() (previously declared in /home/displays/myholidaydisplays-www/vb/photos/inc_features.php:70) in /home/displays/myholidaydisplays-www/vb/photos/inc_features.php on line 70

Do you know what may be causing this?Here is my line 70:

function pp_get_ext( $filename ) {

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
