watermark not getting on direct links of pictures

hi, can you let me know if there is some kind of quick fix for this or code alteration that i can do for this to happen

i need all my pictures to be branded with my watermark. right now, only the first category that they are picked the image gets branded then the copies of the same image are not getting branded. They are getting branded for the site, but if you go directly to the "Direct Link" that i have enabled for the images, they do not get branded. How do i make it so that every single copy of a picture made from a copy gets branded with the watermark even if when taking the direct link and loading that url up on the browser it will show the picture branded?

this is very important for me , i hope there is a code alteration that i can do to make this happen

thank you

If your using on the fly watermarks and not permanent watermarking that would be correct a direct link to the image will not have a watermark. You can turn off on the fly watermarking and use the permanent watermarking instead.

Turn off on the fly watermarking

In Admin => Watermarking Options turn on watermarking and make sure the server path to the watermark is right it should already be. Then in Admin => Edit Categories you can set in watermarking permissions which usergroups get there images watermarked.
