Category Introduction

I am confused about the "Category Introduction" setting in the "PhotoPost Category Editor".

When I enable this and add a heading and some comments, those comments only appear in each user gallery. Is that how it is supposed to work? I thought it was supposed to be an introduction to the actual category?

Yes if you enter a category introduction that appears in the category you made the announcement for. There is also in index options an index announcement you can make for the index of the gallery

OK. But it doesn't appear in the introduction to each category, but rather in each user's gallery, in that category.

But is there any way to have some text in the 'root' of each category?

If I place a category intro for cat 503 when I view cat 503 the intro shows.

Please give explicit examples of what you think is wrong. There is no introduction for each users members gallery.
