Recent Photos / products list edit

In Reviewpost / Gallery etc.. there is a bar under the search box that has links for Last day last 7 days etc.. I want to make this a dropdown and put it on the same line as the search box above it but not sure where it is .. Can someone help here. Also if you have already created a dropdown I'd sure appreciate seeing how you did it.
