Question Ratings of 10 to 5?
How feasible would it be to change the rating system from 10 to 5?

Well it is feasible

You can post in the mods forum for code modification questions. Basically you would need to write a script to fix the rating now and divide them in half in the comments and photos tables and then edit pp-inc.php and modify the function get_rate_code.
