Backing up images

Hi,

Just wondering if there is a way of backing up the images stored on the server by photopost and categorising them based on the user who uploaded them?

I'm planning on removnig photopost from my site but would like to archive the images so they aren't lost completely (and I'd like to know who uploaded them)

Hello

There is no ftp service within Photopost. You would need to physically backup the files. As long as you have a physical backup of your data directory and a copy of the database your in good shape.

Yeah I'm happy with that.

But is there anyway I can relate the numbering photospost has used to a particular user?

So I know which folder belongs to which user?

The folder numbers correspond to the category id numbers in the database and not the user. The database tables hold the information so there is no direct way to do what you want no.
