Moderators not able to do anything

Hi..

I'm sure I'm just missing something but after I set a moderator in a specific category, nothing has apparently changed for the user. They cannot edit, move, delete or anything else.

I did...

Photopost Admin > Edit Categories > Moderators > Add

Added two separate users as moderator in one of the categories to make sure it wasn't something related to just one of them. One of the users is in the "moderator" vBulletin usergroup for the forums, one is not.

I also have "moderators have global rights" set to "no" in the Admin Options area.

Any thoughts?

Well The moderator must be in the moderators group to start. Sounds like the settings are all set correctly from one I see except one thing you did not meantion. In Admin =-> Edit Usergroups you set moderators usergroup to have moderators access. Therefore every mod will have mod access and with mod not global then the program will let them do what you want in there specific categories. As long as they are given mod access in admin usergroups editor they should have mod access provided they exist in the mod usergroup.

Ah, I see!

I only wanted one or two of them to have any mod access in the galleries, that's why I didn't turn it on for the entire usergroup. Let me make sure I understand though.. If I turn it on for the moderator usergroup and also have on "no global powers" then the only mods who will have powers are those specifically assigned to a category, not all of them?

Thanks for the quick response Chuck.

[edit]
That worked like a charm, thanks a ton Chuck! One related question. I was hoping mods would be able to change the "Owner" of an image - is there any easy method of doing this or is it a modification of the code? If so, I'll post this follow-up question over in the mods area.

Yes this would require code modification to your editphoto.php and editphoto template as only an admin has permission to change ownership explicitly.
