This should help you

http://www.photopost.com/manual/index.html

You set in Admin => Edit usergroups the permissions and those who have permission to upload will see an upload photos link on menubar

It works thanks.

New question:
Is there a way to point PP to my picture folders on my ftp server ?
Or do i have download them on my computer and then reupload them ?

Sorry for these questions but i have yet to find a manual for PP.

You can bulkupload by pointing the path for the upload directory to the server path on the server to those images on the upload page as admin under bulk options and clicking the option to skip the upload process and process files in your directory.

You might want to read the installation instructions as permissions are not set correctly and uploads will not work till this is fixed

Finn,

Your server is running in safe mode which cripples file uploads. Our program requirements state safe mode must be OFF to run the program. You might need to take this up with your host. Let me link a couple things here. One is going to be the program requirements and the next is the installation instructions which state the directory and file permissions that need to be set

The safe mode issue has been fixed and i can now upload if i place my pictures in /uoload/1238 folder.
However i get massive amounts of error in line 418 when i upload bulk.

Is it possible to import a folder full of pictures and in that import automatically use the folder name as category in PP ?

You would need to post any specific error you have so we can assist. I would need the full error.

Things for you to watch out for.

1. Make sure your uploads and data permissions are set to 777 at every level.

2. Make sure when uploading one file that the file is not larger than your max PHP upload filesize allowed.

As far as bulk issues I need to see exact errors.

Bulkuploading happens like this.

You would bulkupload a bunch of images to a specific folder either your uploads folder under Photopost or another path and on the uploadphoto page change the upload server path in admin bulk uploads. You would select in the cat drop down the cat you want to upload to.

Then check this option and you should begin processing those images

Skip upload and process the files already in your upload directory

If you want to bypass the approval process and just process the files directly into the directory without titles and descriptions check off this option as well

Click here to bypass approval process and upload all files in directory

That is all there is to bulkuploading.

Remove in Admin => Global Options the path to jpegtran etc you can not use Imagemagick or jpegtran with open_basedir set on the server.

Removed thanks.

Im almost done - last question for now is theoretical because i cant give you a error message but i have noticed that after i opened up for user upload, my site has been extremely slow whenever someone uploads a few pictures.

This might not be the case but looking at the upload mails i get and at time everything freezes they fit.

Any idea what is going on there ?

I am not understanding your english but if your simply saying your site is slow you might want to check with your host cause these are usually server issues and not software issues.
