Make uploads to common area not count toward limit

Hello,

I saw some threads somewhat related to this topic but nothing that definitively answered it for me.

I want my users to have a limit in their user galleries. I also want to have "common" galleries wherein uploads do not count toward a user's upload limit.

Is this feasible and, if so, how would I go about it?

Thanks!

You may ask questions on modifications to the code in the MOD CORNER FORUMS. Questions such as this that involve you to modify your code from the default coding fall outside the realm of product support.

I was actually hoping it was a switch within the software that I'd missed. It seems like this should be a relatively useful (thus, common) need.

I'll post it over there though, thanks Chuck.

Users have a daily upload limit and this is already in the software. However you want it to not count towards all categories hense you would need to modify the code.

Right.. but I did not know if I was missing a switch somewhere that made particular gallery areas "not count" so far as the upload limit matters. I only installed the software two days ago so don't have a ton of experience with it yet.

Again, thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
