Flash thumb?

Still on the thumbnail topic, I've started uploading a few flash files and they are displaying a generic flash thumb. I read somewhere on here that the thumb for flash files was generated from the first frame of the movie but this is not happening for me. Any ideas/solutions gratefully received.

The thumbnails for multimedia are not automatically generated from the multimedia frames. Nowhere on our site does the feature set claim this.

You can upload an optional thumbnail on upload to represent the multimedia. You will see that field on the second stage of upload.
