Optomize server

I am looking for a post or some information about optomizing a server... I saw it here or on the vBulletin web site and now I can't find it.

I just don't recall.... but then again I could just be losing it completely.

Any help is appreciated. I am using too many resources on my server and trying to figure out some issues.

Our documentations forum has photopost optimization settings for the program but I am unaware of any specific server post. I would tend to think this is vbulletin.org you might have seen it.
