Change username in bulk?

Hi guys,

Is there any way I can change the username / owner of a batch of photos in bulk? For instance, I am killing a user account, but, I want to keep all of the photos and put them another user account.

In other words, I want to take all of the photos from User A and move them to User B. The user has no albums.

I found this thread, but, need to modify the query to my specific need.

BULK change owners of photos

Thanks.

In our files as admin you can bulkupload files as another user but if your trying to assign photos already uploaded to another user then do a query in phpmyadmn like this

UPDATE pp_photos SET userid='newuserid,user='newuser' WHERE userid='olduserid'

Thanks Chuck. Are the userid fields user numbers or user names?

For instance, I want to take all of the photos that a user uploaded and put them in my name. The user ID of this guy shows up as "ppuser=791" when I open his gallery. My user ID is: ppuser=4

Can you modify your sample to reflect those numbers? And, it looks like there might be a need for an ending single quote after the first 'newuserid' ?

Sorry for the dumb questions, but, I want to get it right when I run it.
