Missing 'Enter Description' box

The 'enter description' box is missing from the upload page regardless of user configuration (display description is turned on in Show Photo options). I can find no way of activating it.
Also is there a way to hide the username which appears under the thumbnails, perhaps by editing the gallery view options?
Thanks for any help.

Please make sure to redownload the build and upgrade if your using an older version of Photopost. There was an old bug which was fixed.

If you want to modify your feature block and not show the username you would need to remove this variable from feature.tmpl file

Code:

Content visible to verified customers only.

Thanks for your reply. Have downloaded 5.3. How straightforward is it to upgrade? I'm hoping it's just a question of copying over the files and running install.php. Is there some instruction you can point me to? Thanks again.

Hello Chuck. I removed the variable as you indicated but it has made no difference - username still visible under all thumbs.

Hello if we are talking about the same place then the username is gone. The random recent most view photo blocks on index.

Sorry, I wasn't specific enough. Not the index but the thumbnails on showgallery.php

You can edit the showgallery template if you want and remove the html that shows the user or more directly if you want to just show thumbnails or thumbnails with titles only go to Admin => Edit Categories and set the display type to either of those two and not gallery ;)

My Edit Categories doesn't have display options. Is this a new feature in 5.3?

Yes this is in 5.3
