Move all photos & details

Hi All,

Would anyone be able to suggest the best method for the following:

Currently moving vBulletin to new server and am going to start with clean vB but retain members, threads & posts. I'd like to reinstall photopost onto new server and then move the images and image details (who posted etc) into the new photopost install.

Current install is vB 3.5.0 with PhotoPost PHP vB3 Enhanced 5.2

New install will be vB 3.5.4 with PhotoPost PHP vB3 Enhanced 5.3

Reason this may sound strange is simply because I want to ditch all tweaks and edits from the original templates and php files but retain the data, like in forums it will be members info, and all the posts, threads etc. In Photopost I'm unsure how to do this as images are on the disk not in the database?

Any guidance or suggestions would be great.

Cheers
Dave

Basically just transfer your database and data directory to the new install and upload clean photopost files. You then edit the config files and mysql settings table and correct any server paths and urls

You should be good to go then.

The problem is I did not want to take over the complete Database (intergreated into vB) but only the tables required. So would I be correct if I exported all the pp_ tables and imported them on the new site. (not forgetting the data directory)

well you can try importing the photos and categories tables only into a new install if they are the same version

Okay thinking outside the box now...

Is there a method of taking Photopost from being integrated with vb3 to standalone and retaining all photo's and posters.?

No there are no scripts here for that on this site. I wrote a script to import users from photopost to vb3 but not the other way around.
