Can't upload

Hello, for soem reason I can't upload anymore pictures. Perhaps i may have set a limit somewhere, but I can't remember where. I am stuck.

Well you can post any errors and such here so we can assist.

I can not suggest a resolution with such a broad based problem saying I cant upload.

Hi

My photopost worked fine for a while. I made a new category and now suddenly I can't post to any of the categories. But every once in a while it will work. Also, I noticed on my usergroups there doesn't seem to be a administrator group any more, so I added that back. Right now I can't add any pictures to any section. It acts like it is loading, but does nothing...

Did your server host turn on safe mode? check your phpinfo

oneway April 11th, 2006 03:34 PM

Hello

Nope. I don't see anything that says safe mode enabled.

Possible

Is it possible I set a max limit on the total size allowed. If so I can't find where to adjust that value.

Without an error here I can not suggest anything to assist

You have a link to your gallery

Now if I found your install I think I just uploaded a pic of a fish with no issue here

Don't see it

My site name is www.atlanticblvd.com/photo

I would suggest you check how big files your uploading just in case they are over your PHP max upload size

What exactly happens when you upload cause I uploaded fine twice as you see

Ok

I will try a smaller picture.

Thanks

Hey as usual thanks, that fixed it. My pictures are too big.

Chuck S April 11th, 2006 04:04 PM

Yep your PHP is set to 2MB max filesize so you might want to put a 1900kb limit in usergroup options

oneway April 11th, 2006 04:11 PM

Ok

I will do that now!

Where do you find out what your PHP is set to? I can't find this anywhere. Can it be changed or increased?

Judy

If your on a dedicated or virtual dedicated server you can edit your php.ini file but on a shared you would need to contact your host to see if they would increase the max file uploadsize.
