Image resize upload question?

I currently have my gallery set up so my max photo size is 640 x 480. I have the option set up automatically resize the image if it is larger than this when uploaded. Also, my max file upload size for registered users is 1mb.

The question is, if a user uploads a large 1mb picture, my gallery automatically resizes it like it should but does it keep the original 1mb picture on the server still or no? This seems like it would take up alot of space doing it this way.

Thanks,

Joey

No it keeps the resized image since that is what your telling the program to do. The only way its going to keep the original image is to not specify a max height width and use medium trigger.
