Restrict viewing

Hi,

How can I restict one usergroup from viewing one particular section in photopost?

Can it be done with conditions? file edits? or can it be done via password protecting that area?

Also,

I dont want this particular area's photo's showing up in featured photo's or any other area for that matter, I only want them to show when a member that has permission to access this area and the photo's show up ONLY within that area.

Any ideas?

You can go to Admin => Edit Categories and select the usergroups whom having viewing permissions to the categories and who does not.

Yes I understand that and thats setup ok and working, but I need to further restrict a single section (particular photo section) and not a usergroup.

Your not understand this process by your response here.

Whatever section your trying to restrict you unselect viewing permissions from whatever usergroups you do not want to view the section. Therefore if the user does not have viewing permission they do not see the category or photos at all.

Yes I know about permissions, so how can I stop the pics from showing up in random images, recent photos,, featured photo's etc.

Only want them to show up when the member actually visits the section, therefore I need them hidden.

The feature blocks will show photos that you set the user has permission to view.

If you dont like the blocks showing photos the user has permission to view then I suggest you turn them off cause they are working as they are suppose to.
