| Add Description
Hello, as the title states... I would like to add the description inside the category where you are viewing the images (gallery). So while you are viewing the images ex ( Shake Tutorials). You see there is a "Users:" section, "Ratings:" section, "Date:" area, and a "Filesize:" area. I would like to add one more column below this, and have it labeled, "Description:" and then there would be the photo's description.
Anyone know how to do this?
Thanks,
Paul

Basically you can define description in showcat.php like this in bold Code: Content visible to verified customers only.
You can then edit showcat template and add a table row for description and use this variable to display description Code: Content visible to verified customers only.

| Custom
Is there a way to add a custom field? I would also like to add a time field for our tutorials, and have that displayed directly above the description.
Thanks,
Paul

You can specify extra fields per category in Admin => Edit Categories

Hello again. I've added the custom field "Time" in the Admin -> Edit Categories section. I've also updated the showgallery.php file, and the showgallery.tmpl file. Although my time field is not appearing... Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Paul

| Code
My template file looks like this. Code: Content visible to verified customers only.
I've added that to the showgallery.php file, and I've also added a custom field (I think the values of those fields are being saved as extra1) Thats why I've used extra1 as my variable. I'm confused. What do I add where, if I want to add a completely new field that isn't even in the system.

Hello I can't say much about code modification as any errors would lay in your coding there. More than likely you have not modified your showgallery query to define extra1
I can tell you how it works. If you specify an extra field in category admin. when a user uploads a product they can fill out the variable and it will show on the showphoto page only if they entered something.

I see that my time field appears on the actual page that contains the movie (tutorial in this case). Although I would like it to appear on our showgallery listing, just like you helped us with... http://xyztraining.com/tutorials
You'll notice we have a description of the tutorial to the right of each preview image. What I want to do is have the value of the "Time" field appear right above the description. Does that make sense?
Thanks,
Paul

| More Info
As you can see (attachment one, picture 4.png) I have the tutorial with all the information. The link to where this picture was taken can be found... http://xyztraining.com/tutorials/sho...ry.php/cat/505
The next picture (attachment two, picture 5.png) shows the Video Details once you click on a tutorial. You'll notice I have the "Time:" field set...
This next picture (attachment three, picture 6.png) shows the edit video options.
This last picture shows the category options (attachment four, picture 7.png)
Thanks,
Paul

Any thoughts to how I can get the time to show up? If you would like. You could register for an account, and I'll bump your access up so you can take a look at our settings.
Thanks,
Paul
