Help - Uploads directory

I have members uploading images that we do not allow. They are being sneaky by not approving them and linking directly to their uploads directory to post the images on our site and other sites.

Is there a way to purge all photos that are sitting in the "uploads" directory? Or not allow them to have images stored that are not live in gallery?

So what they upload the file and kill the photo processing?

You can simply ftp to your site and delete everything under the uploads directory as needed

If you do not want photos linked on other sites you need to use htaccess to prevent that.

Right! They are uploading images but not processing them. Then they are linking directly to their uploads folder...

EX: www.mysite.com/gallery/uploads/1418/image.jpg

I don't want them to be able to store/leave/not process images that they uploaded.

This will not cause issues? meaning it is going to look for the image files that I deleted via FTP on the users upload/process page?

The uploads directory is filled with a bunch of subdirectory folders named the user id number. Deleting all those sub-folders won't cause a problem?

No there are no issues as far as Photopost is concerned. Remember your uploads directory is 777. When a user uploads there uploads directory is created so it will autocreate so clearing everything under uploads is no issue.
