Smile Need More Info On Photos

Aloha! I'd like to have my members add more info to their photos upon uploading. How do I do that? I've tried using the "Add'l Info" - and typing items that I'd like for them to fill in, e.g.:
  • Stamp Sets:
  • Cardstock:
  • Ink Color:
  • Embellishments:

But these aren't showing up. Can someone point me to the menu I should be using or changing?

Thanks!!!
Jen

If you use in Admin => Edit Categories the extra fields and such the user will be resented with the option when uploading to the category to fill out these options.

Hey Chuck,

I've done what you've told me to do - but it still isn't working. Any thing else that I could possibly be missing?

Thanks!

What what do you mean by it does not work? I think let me explain more how this works

If you do what I state it definately works just remember it is PER category so you have to do this for every category you want a user asked these extra things and for anything to show up the user when asked the questions on upload must answer them. I hope this clarifies things

Good Morning Chuck,

Hey - every single category that I have set up have these add'l requests added - but when I try to upload a picture, it uploads without having those extra fields requested to be filled out. Still not working.

Also, i'd like to have thumbnails per category - just like your website - how'd you do that?

I've seen another website with an unreal template: http://www.clikchicdesigns.com - how in the world did she do THAT?!

Thanks!
Jen

Nothing unreal about their photopost

http://www.clikchicdesigns.com/gallery/index.php

You would need to PM me a url and admin login to see what your doing. Ya gotta be missing something.

As far as the catavatar if your admin and you have catavatars set to yes in index options in admin when viewing a photo in a category you can set that as the index thumb.

Okay I got your PM on admin login and url

Your just overlooking the part to fill the info in. As stated when you upload a photo and the cat has additional info question you go to another screen where you are showed the thumbnail and are given the change to answer the info. I uploaded a test here

I did not change anything. I just saw what cats you did it to and uploaded a photo and filled in the answers to test it.
