Photopost Pro different then vBGallery? How can I use vBa CMPS?

OK, I have two licenses and I am using them on websites with vBulletin and vBAdvanced... The integration works fine but I have come to the conclusion that my PhotoPost Pro PHP program is not the same as vBGallery ... Was there an option to purchase vBGallery here somewhere? Can I switch?

Is there a way I can get this PhotoPost Pro to integrate into vBa CMPS pages like others have done with vBG? Perhaps I am just confused and if I install PP Pro PHP in vB I now have vBG? If that is the case, none of the Mods I am trying to install are working...

Just need to know if I should give up on any mods and if I want any changes I will have to code it myself...

If you want to run vBGallery you would need to purchase that and there is a sticky thread in the before you buy forum on how to purchase.

As far as vbadvanced I am unaware of what your trying to say. Neither vBGallery or Photopost are going to integrate on your vbadvanced page without hacks or mods and you can post about those in the respective mod forums for each product since those are outside or product support for each product.

There are some tutorials in the mods forum on how to make a vbadvanced photo block using Photopost.

Basically you would follow the instructions to setup inc_features.php make a new file called ppblock.php and make the contents this

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
You then upload this ppblock.php file to your modules directory and in vbadvanced admin make a new php block. Clean file output do not use templates and select module shell to NO.

That should do it as its pretty easy.

I am sure I am not the only person that will need this so here is more info:

http://www.photopost.com/forum/showthread.php?t=121868

I do wish I had known earlier that there were two products as I purchased through vBadvanced.com and their link here... When I click the Purchase button I only see the "PhotoPost Pro PHP".

I now own two licences of the pro and it works great but I kind of like the various hacks and mods that have been developed to allow the vB Gallary images to be used in so many ways.

Lucky for me I still have two other sites with vBulletin and the one could use a photoserver so I have another chance to get the other version if I really want it...

Well the thread you are referring to on vbAdvanced which has been up on there site since november simply states that they no longer sell it and they direct you to our site.

On our before you buy forum we have stickied at the top how to purchase vbgallery. I am assuming you simply went and ordered Photopost which is fine. There are hacks for both products to do what you want.
