Error at bottom of login page

OK... so I've got everything OK up until the PhotoPost login page. (including my custom header)

At the bottom of the login page I get this error:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: fetch_template() in /home/tinastea/public_html/photopost/header-inc.php on line 80

Line 80 is:
eval('$navbar = "' . fetch_template('navbar') . '";')

I'm guessing this is something to do with absolute/relative paths in my vB navbar style, right? That thing is FULL of href tags - is there a particular one that I have to make absolute? Or is there something else I have to do yet?

I have never seen that error. You have the proper vb path entered right. You have turned on the header integration so it should know what fetch_template means if it found global.php

url to install?

Does this style have a navbar template?

It is a customized style with a stock navbar that has extra links added to it.

I just tried a new re-install and it didn't make any progress for me. One thing I noticed... in step 4 it has a field that says "URL to Forum directory
Please make sure this is correct!" - could what I'm seeing be because my vB forum is installed directly into my public_html folder? My website IS my vB forum.

Incidentally... now my adm-index.php makes me log into PhotoPost, which bounces me to a login page for my site (even though my site remembers me) and I STILL have that same error on the bottom.

One thing you might want to consider editing in the install procedure just for clarification... in step #5, the user has to fill in the server path to the forum directory and the server path to the PhotoPost directlry. I wonder if it might make things easier for people troubleshooting their install if you were to clarify "Server path to PHOTOPOST forum directory" (which I'm assuming is what you're after since the path defaults to /home/tinastea/public_html/photopost/forum - which still isn't 100% right since the pre-set forum folder name in the PhotoPost extract is FORUMS and not forum)

I can give you a URL and set you up with an admin login so you can see exactly what I'm seeing, but it's a members-only site for my wife's business. I'd prefer to PM you that info if you don't mind.

I went through the install and installed correctly and the fetch template error is gone.

Now double check your cookie settings and vb license number. something is not right there but I can not verify your license number of course

Also your locking down the forum and Photopost to not logged in users and as such you might want to edit that template in vb that gives the user that box to add in the full url to login.php as it has a relative url right now. hense it wont work over Photopost. I dont off the top of my head know which template that is

I glad you found SOMETHING to fix. And I did too... I was using my VB customer number. But now I've got my license in AND have gone over my cookies and it STILL doesn't let me use the VB integration.

I've resorted to the fact that I probably won't figure out the integration issue, I'm sick of dinking with it and am going to activate this using the "plain" shell.

For anyone reading this... PAY FOR PHOTOPOST'S INSTALL SERVICE!!!

If you can not use the integration check the server path to the forum in config-int.php or post your issue as I did not see any issues

I just checked that. Right now it's my IP - I added /index.php to the end of it and it didn't help. (IP/index.php is the TRUE path to my vb forum)

The issue I had with the vB integration turned on was that it would make me log in at URL/photopost/index.php, it always gave me the error I posted in this thread..

Your IP is a url not a server path

Server path is something like this

/var/www/html/gallery

LOL! Sorry - yeah - that's right too. My forum is installed right in my public_html folder.
