Error creating thumbnail! Error code: 1

Chuck, like colken in a previous post, I'm also getting Error 1, but on a WinXPPro system:

Error creating thumbnail! Error code: 1

Command:

"e:/im6/mogrify.exe" +profile "*" -size 100x75 -quality 70 -geometry 100x75 -unsharp 10 E:/www/cabletv.com/photopost/data/1/thumbs/armacost020.jpg

I did try changing to single back slashes, but PP automatically converted them to double backshashes. Yes, e:/im6/ is the proper directory form Imagemagick6, and I've verified that mogrify.exe is there.

Help will be appreciated.

Try editing image-inc.php and remove this twice as some windows image magick installs can not handle this imagemagick command

Hi there,

tried to follow these instructions, but still the problem occurs. Switched from GD2 to ImageMagick, the result is an error message (see attached file).
What is to be done to solve that prob?

TIA and best regrads,

adusei

That is an Imagemagick issue that it can not find Imagemagick. You need to either set the proper path to Imagemagick or in Admin => Global Options set the processor to GD2

On a windows system you need to make sure you set permissions on the uploads and data directories under Photopost to READ WRITE EXECUTE permissions to permit file uploads to the server.
