Remove welcome bar

How can I remove the bar on top that says welcome "username" and has the search box on the right?

I'd like to totally get rid of that whole thing.

Thanks,

Joey

You can remove the call to that template in index.php

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.

Also same thing with show members. I would like it removed from every page on the whole gallery if possible.
