No content getting indexed in google image search ?

While checking Google Web Results there are thousands of pages indexed from our gallery.

But on Google Image Search there are only 2 images ?

What is the reason behind same ? Is it due to following ?

Just takes time to get indexed in images. That just tells the browser not to cache the images.

Exactly nocache means load the page fresh each time not from your computer cache

I re-checked and seems google image search gets updated rarely (couple of times a year) compared to google web search (which gets updated hourly)

according to some industry professionals.
