Enlarge Category Thumbnail Size on Index Page

How can I resize the index thumbnails for each category listed on the mail index page without having to increase the size of my gallery thumbnails? ie: I would like to have the category index thumbnail larger than the gallery thumbnails.

Appreciate any help you can provide.

The category thumbnail can not be larger than the thumbnail as anything larger would cause distortion.

You can change it to the same size if you want here in pp-inc.php by replacing the .5 with a 1

Ive just dont this it works great in firefox but in internet exsplorer all the index thums have gone to 1px in hight but are all ok in width. Ive changed the 5 to a 7 as i wanted my index thums larger. Any ideas? thanks

This edit has nothing to do with affecting height and width. All your changing is the .5 to say .75 or 1. That just elects to print the avatar at fullsize or not. It should no affect on image width or height tags

thanks for the quick response, Ive managed to sort it by reuploading a fresh copy of the pp-inc.php this has resolved the problem. I must of damaged the code whilst editing it the first time.
