Always view ALL Recent Photos on index

I just found the option to display the # of Recent Photos from 7 days to ALL days. Normally it just displays the default $ i set in admin.

How do I make it so it default to display all ? where's the switch?

Also - does ALL mean forever ? I see it says 1 day, 7 days and ALL - so if 5 years go by will ALL mean for life of gallery as i assume it does ?

Recents Photos displays the latest Photos by date and only displays the x number of Photos you specify in Layout Options so if you want to display 4 rows and 12 photos total it will display 3 rows of 4
