Use area on the sides of the media picture

I would like to know how / what to edit in order to display the filmstrip in area that is on the sides of the medium picture when it is displayed...

The filmstrip can be shown on top bottom left or right.

You can edit showphoto.tmpl if your trying to achieve something different.

You see the space on the left side of the picture show and THEN the filmstrip? I want to move the filmstrip to that extra space next to the picture... instead of having it on the far left.

Have the red area (filmstrip) be shown where the arrow is pointing...
