Another couple of questions if I may:
-I uploaded all files from the 5.3 package, being careful not to overwrite the data folder (except where there were new files, like the index.html and new mini, medium and thumbs folders).
The language folder in 5.3 contains very different files from what I had in 4.66.
1. Am I supposed to delete the old 4.66 language folders (within the langauge folder)?
2. How should I change the default language to Norwegian?

Read the post number 15 link I linked at the steps you need to take to convert your phpbb integrated photopost to the vb3 integrated photopost. There are several steps you must take and that thread states them.

Hi, I don't have any more issues with the upgrade. I had followed your instructions from this thread and the other thread you mentioned, and it all went ok.
My question now is regarding the language that PP uses. The old version 4.66 had a Norwegian language file, which is absent in 5.3.
1. Is it ok to delete the older language folders within the /languages/ directory?
2. Is there a Norwegian language file somewhere? I can't see it anywhere on this site and no word in the docs.

Right you have placed the proper usergroups in your usergroup table. You still have phpBB ones there.
EMPTY the usergroups table and place these in there. Code: Content visible to verified customers only.

Thanks for that. I was wondering why there were only 3 usergroups! I have corrected the usergroups now....
Norwegian question?! Hope I can get this fixed too!

My question is in post #23. First - do I delete the old language folders that were in 4.66?
Second question is that 4.66 had a Norwegian language pack. Is there one for 5.3?
