Removing "Recent Photos" from certain galleries
 

There are a few galleries in my site http://www.scraplovers.com/gallery that will contain a small number of pictures, say 20 or so (e.g. http://www.scraplovers.com/gallery/s...ry.php?cat=552). Because the number of photos in the gallery are approximately the same number as as are displayed in the "Recent Photos" area, I would like to turn off the Recent Photos bar in those categories. I don't see an obvious way to do this. Can someone give me a pointer, either to an admin setting or to a php or tmpl file that I can look at for modification?

In 5.3 Admin => Show Photo Options set this to NO

Display Featured Photos on this page?
On larger sites this option can slow down the showgallery page. Turn off to speed up this page.
