Do you have two installations? http://www.ltp.ky/2005/photopost/ http://www.lastortugasproduction.com/2005/photopost/ The setting I meantioned controls what styleclasses we use. Note this is your menubar template. It is still using our style classes. Code: Content visible to verified customers only. This is in the bottom of our vb3.php file Code: Content visible to verified customers only. |
you have installed photopost as an internal install and not externally integrated with vb3 I hit register and go to this page http://www.lastortugasproduction.com...t/register.php You need to reinstall Photopost to integrate into vb3 |
No I just have one installation but I have a parked domain thats why its how on the browser. But it has been all installed under the domain Lastortugasproduction.com/2005/forums/ here is another pic at my integration settings which I think I have done right from the begining of both install PP and VB: Code: Content visible to verified customers only.Let me know what I am missing...thanks |
I just saw ur last post ...I first Vb...then photopost...the first admin screen asked if I had Vb installed and to enter the serial number which I did then followed along and finished installing photopost. For registration I keep phototpost as the regisrtaion module not Vb is that the problem? what is the diff. between external and internal? Do I have to re-install Photpost or VB. whats the oder? |
Yes you must use vb3 as the registration system. Just reinstall Photopost and select vb3 external integration |
Ok I will give it a try and let u know..thanks... |
I have re-installed PP and now the themes seem to work BUT only one problem I cannot seem to get into the ADM section of PP. After I login in redirects me to the index of PP. So I have no way of configuring the settings in PP. here is the the site now http://www.ltp.ky/2005/photopost/ Let me know your thoughts...thanks again...we are almost there...thx |
On install you where asked to enter the cookie prefix of vbulletin If you use phpmyadmin view the settings table setting 172 and change it to bb ( the cookie prefix by default is this but you can check in the vbulletin config.php file) |
Chuck your are genius!! right on the money...its working! Now how do I get the main Navigation where it says "Forums...." to reduce in width and how do I get a "gallery" or photogallery link there! thanks again...XM |
You have your photopost set at 80% width and the forum at 100% width So decide which one you want and set it in the options of the appropriate application. If your trying to limit the whole thing then set photopost to 100% and vbulletin to 80% You can edit the vbulletin template navbar and add an html link to the gallery |
Thanks Chuck you been great help , how do you change tose setting in VB I know them in PP but not in VB any insight? Also how do you add more items under "category" not under "Main" but Category itself. Thanks again.... |
In vbulletin you go to their admin control panel and hit styles admin and edit the style properties itself. You will see the table width you have set at 100% you can change to 80% In Photopost admin add a top level category. I assume this is what your talking about adding a top level category as appose to adding a subcat. |
Thanks Chuck you this software inside out.... One more problem I came across I cannot upload the pictures ..its says " Sorry, you don't have permission to upload photos. " The user is the admin on the site... Any ideas...we are almost there...thanks again..I couldn't gone this far without your assistance.... :) |
You would need to set upload permissions on which groups you want to upload in Admin => Edit Usergroups |
On the money...thanks!! |
