| vb3 skins images don't show in PhotoPost.
I just recentley installed the newest version of VBulletin and PhotoPost Pro. The integration between the two works and I was able to upload images. The problem I have is that when I installed a new skin (darkness) in vb but when I view PhotoPost the skin works except for the images which are broken. Am I missing a setting somewhere or did I install the PhotoPost in the wrong directory? I install VB in domain.com/forum and PhotoPost in domain.com/PhotoPost. Thank you in advance for your help.

Just a few places to check settings.. PhotoPost Admin area
"Edit Integration" - Server Path to Forum directory, URL to your forums, vB integration turned to "ON".
"Forum Settings" - URL to your forums main directory.
Could also try in vB under the new style, set the image paths to the full URL
Hope one of these helps!
Should post a link to the photopost also so, people can see the error.

BINGO!
Yes your custom style is using relative image paths which would only show under your forum directory.
You would need to make those in the style options full paths or something like this
/forums/images_custom/misc
The other way would be to rewrite out auto rewrite code which rewrites the normal vb3 relative links to include this custom style.

| I'm Having The Same Problem as this guy did
I did everything listed above, but my photo post isn't picking up the path that I'm inputting. Thought it was because I was using .jpeg - so I change my logo to .gif but that still didn't work. Can someone please help?
Thanks!!
Jen

In your vb styles admin for the style make the logo a full url to the image and it will be found.

Sorry Chuck! I'm still having the same problem. The little arrow next to "Search" and "Quick Links" are also missing.
Thanks for any input you can give me.

I would need to see a url to take a guess. Is your forums path in forum options correct?
Have you corrected all the path statements in your vb styles admin for that style not just the logo path?

You would need to correct any relative image statements in your vb header and custom style so that they can appear over Photopost.
In your vb style admin you can correct the relative paths like so
images/misc
to maybe http://fortheloveofstamping.net/VBulletin/images/misc |

Is there anything else I can do, because I am inputting the full path, but my logo is still not showing up in my Gallery.
THanks!

Sorry not trying to cause an arguement but looking at the html of the page you have not do so. See here in bold Code: Content visible to verified customers only.
If you modify your style options to full url's for that custom style everything will show.

| Header on custom vb style not showing in PP and PPC
Hey, I know this is an old thread but I am having this problem.
I thought I had updated all the relevant paths to full http URLs but the header image is still not showing up for both PhotoPost and for Classifieds.
The URL of my forum is www.aucado.us/forums.
PhotoPost is here
Classifieds are here
I appreciate any help on this.
Thanks.
Edit:
I worked this out. I had to put in the whole URL in the Header template.
All fine now.

Just spending the time waiting for dinner messing around with my new product. I've got to say, I like it. Pretty well thought out design.
I've hit a few stumbling blocks so far, but all have been answered by either common sense or this forum, except for this one.
If you look at my showphoto page, http://first-solo.net/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=1, the collapse arrow is missing from the comment box. Now, the arrow show's up on the photo details table, but not on the comment section. I looked through the source code, the photo details table has a full path to the image, and the comments section only has a relative path. I'm not sure why the difference. I looked in the showphoto.tmpl and quickcom.tmpl templates and the lines are nearly identical:
showphoto.tmpl Code: Content visible to verified customers only.
quickcom.tmpl Code: Content visible to verified customers only.
This one's got me a bit perplexed...am I even barking at the right tree?
Merry Christmas!!
(And if it makes any difference in your response, I'm thinking I'll be purchasing the classifieds product later this week! )

Please post a test login so we can see the comment box and comment on what we see. I would need to see what its looking for versus what the right url is. I would suspect an issue with the custom style.

I changed it to allow the not logged in usergroup to post comments, you should be able to see it now.
I was thinking that might be it, I just couldn't figure out why it used a full path in one, and then a partial relative path in the other.

Well I can not answer why your site does not understand $stylepath there.
Try adding to your quickcom template this line at the top like so in bold. Code: Content visible to verified customers only.
