Why wont photopost let me delete the first category?

The very first category that seems to be undeletable....why is it there? It would appear to list all member albums when you click on it. I think I would prefer to have this as a link somewhere on the menu bar instead of mixing it in with the categories I have setup because it makes it confusing. Is there any way to get rid of it or to simply list all photos regardless of album?

You can not delete the members gallery as it is a placeholder. You can turn off in the Admin => Index Options the ability to display the members gallery

I'm trying to figure out how best to set this up so its organized. I see members can have their own albums as well as photos that are not part of their personal albums but are categoried. Can I make it so the category also applies to photos in their personal albums?

There is no way to just view all photos regardless of category or user. They are broken down in the script to show category images or member galleries.
