Catagory Image

I think I saw on a website which was using photopost pro and they had an image where the black circle is in the attached image. Is this possible?

I seem to remember that you need to tick "Show Catagory Avatars" in Index options. Then click on the required photo in the catagory and under Admin options, click on "make index thumb".

I have found the option and it is set to yes but I do not have the option in your attachment

Ah, are you using a version before 5.02? I remember the facility wan't there with my first version.

Okay you would enable show category avatars as stated in this thread.

Basically when logged in as Admin you will see a link when viewing a photo within a category that says MAKE INDEX THUMB. You click this to set that photo as the cat avatar. You can view the photo and click REMOVE INDEX THUMB to remove it and then select another should you wish to change it.

I have enabled Show Catagory Avatars

Any ideas?

Your using PhotoPost 5.21 and logged in as admin right?

If that is the case I would have no ideas and would request you post a url here and PM me an admin login.

Okay as soon as I remembered your site and what your doing I realized what your issue is. You do not have any images uploaded to your categories they are all user assigned albums. To use category avatars and the MAKE INDEX THUMB the image your tagging to be the cat avatar must exist in the category you want to have the avatar for so you must upload an image to say November and December categories and then you will be able to tag a cat avatar.
