Additional Info and exif

We purchased Photopost last week, running 5.21 Photopost PHP vB3 Enhanced. Running vB 3.5.3

1. When I tick the "Display & extract EXIF, nothing shows up.

2. Because that isn't working, I want to add some additional fields. How do I go about this? I thought it was by going into each category, and adding "Extra Text Field #1" #2, etc. I put in a few words as a test, and nothing is showing up.

What's going wrong with this?

Thanks.

Hello we use an external program called jhead to extract EXIF information because PHP exif is extremely bug ridden. Have you filled out in Admin => Global Options the path to jhead on your server? This would need to be filled out before you will have images with exif information extracted. You can also if you have SSH access to your server compile jhead yourself and the instructions are on this site as well as the download.

Chuck,

I dont see anywhere in the global settings where to enter the path to this Jhead program once the program is installed on the server.

Can you explain a little further about this?

Thanks

Doug

Opps !!!

This is for Photo Post Pro, Sorry about that.

I was thinking this was for Photo Post VB Gallery.

Where would I find this for VB Gallery Chuck? I see it too supports this feature.

vBGallery uses the PHP EXIF so that must be installed with PHP. you just turn on display exif

Ah I see now Chuck. Hey thank you for clearing this up for me.

I'll have to upload a few photos on mine and check this out.
