Change of forums and now I can't login to photopost

I was using phpnuke and the modified version of phpbb with photopost and I have just changed my software to vbportal and vbulletin. The portal and forum are up and working, but I can no longer login to photopost.

I have changed the configeration settings in config-inc and these should be correct as far as I know. I have changed the user database settings to the vbulletin one and have inserted the vblicense code into the space provided. The pp database however is still the nuke one as I had to put it in the same database at the time of original installation to get it to integrate. I have therefore left the pp database settings the same.

Can anyone tell me what I might be missing here?

Oh yay, fixed that problem, but now I can't login as admin? Any idea's?

Okay yep was gonna say you need to change your integration.

There would be two more steps to do as well. Using phpmyadmin you would need to edit the settings table entries 171-173 and set to the proper cookies for vbulletin most notably if you can not login to admin is the cookie prefix. It is by default bb (you can verify by looking at vb config file) and change this setting to bb from phpbb2mysql

Next view the usergroups table and delete all entries except admin which you need to change the groupid from 2 to 6

You should then be able to login and you can refresh your usergroups

Excellent! Thanks..that worked, Ok, now another problem.

'My Photos' now has no images in it, (I am guessing this is just my problem) and all my posted comments have the username as anonymous.

Also, I noticed someone in the gallery who had posted a comment had a 0 post count?? What could be wrong there?

Upon further investigation, it seems that the usernames galleries are not showing the correct users images... for example userA's gallery is showing userB's images.

Thanks so much! All is fixed now! Although some members who have posted comments on photos have a zero post count...just searching for an answer on this at the moment...

Zero post count where? In your forums?

That would be easy if in the forums you run a post recount the forum script does not take into account gallery comment posting.

Thanks Chuck, yes, I think I did a post recount when importing our forum as the counts are working for new comments.
