Video Uploads - Cant get it to work

Have a fresh install of photopost

It will allow me to upload a file as long as it is less than 2MB. This i guess is down to apache / php config and is fine. I do not want to change that as I dont want users uploading that way anyway.

I have created a special video user, and an ftp setup so members can FTP their video directly into this users upload directory (uploads/115). The file uploads fine through FTP and is on the server.

Now I want to go through and "upload" that video into the gallery. I go into "upload photos" as the special video user, and tell it to process files in folder allready.

It says it is successfull but it never goes into the gallery.

Anyone got any ideas ... as video is an important part of the site

Thanks

Set to the standard 16MB for now
and both video files were less than that

Also when I have got a small video on there with a thumbnail attached - the thumbnail is not displaying

No I have not - as I do not want the users to be able to upload anymore than 2MB via HTTP post. I want large files to be done via FTP and then I will manually add these to the users gallery using bulk upload from server.
