Specifying VB style id for PP to use
 

Hi,

Just wondering if I can somehow specify vB forum style id for PhotoPost to use. I am working on the next version of my site, and have different style for home page, forum, and other custom pages.

My current VB forum style is ok for forum, but is minging for PP. If I adjust style for PP to look better, this then messes the look of forum. Ideally, I'd like to create separate style for PP only, and any change to it would only affect PP.

VB 3.5.2 and PP 5.2.1

Well usually you pass it in the url so if you want to load a style do so like so
domain.com/gallery/index.php?styleid=15[/url]

Thanks for reply. I tried above solution but have run into problem. It is ok to specify style id in url, this works well. But once user goes back to forum, forum is now using same style id as gallery. This means I would have to specify style id's in all the links to and from gallery and forum. Not sure I want to do that.

I will use vB inegration without using vB templates, and will customize PP templates to look uniform to the rest of the site. This will not take long, and will same me more and more hassle. I would like to see a feature in PP where one can select style id, if possible.

well why not make a forum link in your navbar for users to link from the gallery back to the forum with a styleid submitted for there ;)
