bulk upload from different directories?

so the default is /uploads/1/ and that works great.

What I was trying to do was upload several photos with multiple FTP sessions...so some go to /uploads/1/ and then I made another directory with same permissions to /uploads/2/

However when I go to bulk upload and tell it to use /uploads/2/ it processes whatever is in /uploads/1/ for some reason....is there something I'm missing for this procedure?

Have you edited the bulkupload path and set the path on upload screen to read directory 2?

where do you edit bulkuploadpath?? All I'm trying to do is shortcut things so I can do multiple bulk uploads at a time...make sense? perhaps that's just over doing things though.

When you upload as admin your upload path is listed in admin bulk options on upload screen you would simply edit and point to the correct path to the images.

I thought it was that straight forward too...but it took nothing from #2 folder and instead processed everything in #1 folder even though I told it in the bulk options to use folder #2. sounds nuts I know.

Bulkupload path, and Thumbnails Cropped

Go to that thread to get a full understanding dude. I didn't get the path part either, mainly becuz of how the screen is set up. The options at the top applies to the bulk options below as well.

Chuck what he wants to know is, can he do a batch bulk upload. Put a bunch of paths at once. If so can you type out the correct syntax?

Hello No you can not switch or put multiple paths anywhere. Bulk Upload will only process files in one specific directory. You need to hit upload photo again and change the path and go on.
