migrate from local PC to host

I plan to test vb and pp on local PC then copy everything to my host. What changes need to be made afterwards? Do I do it from the pp admin, config file, etc.? Sorry, need a little guidance.

TIA

If I reinstall a fresh copy, wouldn't I lose the mod and any changes I made? If things turn out the way I want, I don't want to do the mod a second time.

Well I dont know what you mean by the mod.

You can transfer what you have but you need to copy all files and databases and then edit the config files to reflect any new server paths and database names user/password etc

It doesn't sound too complicated, but I'll find out when it's time. Thanks!
