Announcement box

Helo,

The Announcement box at index options in admin is sort of the thing that I require but what ever you put in there is stays shown when you are logged in. I would like it to be hidden once logged in.

Like here http://www.fireblades.org the bit that says "YOU ARE CURRENTLY VIEWING OUR SITE AS A GUEST! This message will go away once you are registered"

Regards.

Well you can try editing your index.php file and maybe adding this in bold

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.

Announcement To Guests Only

Sorry for reviving such an old thread, but I'm trying to accomplish the same thing and couldn't find the answer. I would like to show my announcement box to "guests only".

Is this code still valid Chuck? It's not working for me -- also I'm using the MyBB integration.

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
