How do I get flash files to embed at full size?

When I embed a swf file it shows the flash file playing, but it doesn't show the whole flash file or it's not at 100%. How do I get it so that either 1. it's a proportion of the full size, but shows the full flash video. or 2. shows the flash file at it's intended proportions 100% HxW?

Thanks.

I don't get how to use that in the embed-fla.tmpl file. Are you sure those aren't for the actual flash creators to include in the actual flash file? If not, how/where do I add them in the embed-fla.tmpl code?

well you can edit the width and height statements as far as anything else you would need to read up on the web.

I guess I don't understand. You have the width hard coded into the embed-fla.tmpl file. If I don't know coding I don't see how reading up on the web is going to help me unless you are implying "learn php" to fix the problem?

You don't have the width and height hard coded for images and they are allowed to be their natural size, yet you haven't given swf files this same ability. I know it's "photopost" and not "flashpost", but maybe you could give me some direction as to how to get it to just show it at the flashes regular size?

Seems stupid to me that the code doesn't just show the flash at it's regular size if I take out the width and height code, but I guess it didn't seem too stupid to the person that invented how the code works.

The problem is I can set the height and width vars to huge numbers and then it will show most flash, but it still isn't the best. I was hoping it would be possible to get some help on getting it so that photopost just showed the full flash video at it's regular size. Can you give me any type of quick code change that would allow photopost to know/adjust to the width of any flash video being shown on showphoto.php?

Thanks for any other help or directions you might be able to provide. I'm completely lost when looking at most of this code.

Most everyone hardcodes the width and height of players to a specific size and we do that. What I am saying is you can increase those if you want.

I am trying my hand at getting PP doing swfs again. They look really crappy at a hard coded width and height. I have another script that is for a flash arcade and it auto grabs the height and width of the flash file and shows the swf files at the right size. Looking at their code I see that they are using the getimagesize. Is it possible for you to help me use this to get it so that flash files are displayed at their right sizes?

You look at their swf embed code and it has variables for the width and height and it works a lot like how PP does with medium images. I don't need it that fancy, but basicaly the script allows you to put in the max and min size a flash can be, but it will always try to fit it's native size first.

Can you still help me this even though it's been a little while?

Well you can edit the templates and use $mmheight and $mmwidth if you want.

Any other discussion please post in the modifications forum since code modification falls outside product support. Edit showphoto.php and add in bold

When I use $mmwidth and $mmheight in the embed-fla.tmpl file do I need to add anything else to it because it doesn't seem to work just adding those. It looks like the flash file runs in 1 pixel x 1 pixel when putting $mmwidth and $mmheight for the flash height and width. Any ideas?

I will be sure to discuss new topics in the mod forum, figured I would continue to discuss this topic in this thread since it's already on subject.
