Email Gallery Link to a Friend not sending mail

As per subject, the mailer is working for Ecards and new post notification, but this function does not work, PPPro version 5.02. Any ideas what I can do to rectify this, as I cannot find any settings in the Admin CP relating to it.

Do you get any errors?

I do not show any issues with this nor can I find any old bugs on this. You can update to 5.21 to see if this rectifies your issue.

No error message shown, just accepts the address and nothing is received.

Is the upgrade to 5.21 from 5.02 straightforward?

Yep upload all files except any config files and header footer files if your using modified ones and run the upgrade.php script and run every upgrade from your version forward
