Hide Button Doesn't Work Just what exactly does the "Hide" button do when viewing a photo? Whenever I click on it it seems to have no effect on the picture and I am still able to view it in various locations. I know the pics status has changed because the button changes to "unhide" after I have clicked it. Do I need to enable something in my admin settings? I have uploaded a few pictures that I am alternating as the background for my homepage and I would like to hide these pics so they are not viewable by the registered members. I imagine that I could accomplish this by changing another setting in the "Show Photo" or "Show Gallery" admin sections, but I am curious as to exactly what the function and intent of this "Hide" button actually is. Thanx, Stu |
Remember Admins can see all images. Now if you go out as an example the image is not shown on showgallery anymore or the features and regular user's are not gonna see it. You have happen to be on showphoto viewing the photo and have permission to do so since your the admin |
Hi I am one of three admin’s in our gallery and when I view an album containing hidden images, images that I have hidden myself I am not able to view the hidden images. I can view the hidden images in the admin cp under ->> Manage Albums ->> (Album name) Sort Photos. Yet I’m unable to make photos visible again by selecting unhide etc. Could someone please advise? |
