received over 9000 error message emails.... help!
 

My gallery is sending error messages to my email account. The host had to restore the site for me yesterday and it must have caused this overage.

"The query returned with an errorcode of:
User 'atownsend' has exceeded the 'max_questions' resource (current value: 72000)"

The problem is that this is producing error messages that are getting sent to me as emails. I just received 9000. I think I remember reading there is a
?debug command to stop this but don't know more than that.

Can you help?

Hello well this issue is about your server. You can turn off debugging in admin global options

Basically your on powweb or ipowerweb hosting right? They limit mysql connections to so many in a given timeframe and yes this is why your getting these emails.

Contact your host.
Your mysql server allows 72000 questions in a given amount of time.

This is a TEMP ban from your webhost to prevent "hacking" attempts.
- It will lift usaly 30 min to an hour.
- Send an e-mail to your host and ask if your limit can be raised.
