can i put php in custom sidebar pals?

i'm trying to put a script in a custom pal, is this possible? (i could be screwing it up, but if it's not possible, i'll stop trying!) thanks!

You can surely use an include in the custom pal just make it like this. I take it that it prints its own html

I have tried to get this to work and have had no luck.

Here is the error I get

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_SL in /mounted-storage/home37c/sub006/sc29438-CQRT/www/photopost/templates/custom1pal.tmpl on line 19

Any ideas?

Make sure whatever your using is valid PHP with no parse errors as given that error line it looks to be within your code
