Index page question

Good morning

How can I remove the amount of photos from the gallery index page. I basically just dont want this info under the thumbnails.

well without a picture with exactly what your trying to achieve your post is a bit confusing as I know of no image count under the thumbnails

However if your talking about the categories table this variable in categories.tmpl is the one for photo count

{$cats['numphotos'][$x]}

On the index page if you have it set up with thumnail view, under each thumnail it says how may photos are in that gallery, I am just trying to remove that.

I could still use some help with this, I am not the best with code that is for sure, I just want to have the index page not show how many pics are in the gallery.

okay your using the alternate template

well in categall.tmpl remove the variable I posted above

Thumbnails showing # of photos - as per albums?
or
Number of photos in each category?

That worked for me it got rid of the photos QTYs, I also want to get rid of the word photo that was right next to it.

Gallery Hot Cars
Photos 20

The 20 is gone but the Photos is still there, how can I get rid of that also?

Well however the last photo link is in that same row where it says photos so you will give yourself an issue with that. HMM

try this removing everything in bold. You may need to add a colspan="2" on the remaining td but not sure since I have not actually tried this myself

I tried that but it made my page unreadable, can you explain what you mean by adding a colspan 2".

can you give ma an example.
