Most popular images - how do i get these above the categories rather below ?

Hello if you do not use the recent photos box you can alter index.php and make the change in bold here Code: Content visible to verified customers only.

i was thinking of thumbs of the most highly rated above and most recent below the category listing - is this possible

Make the change noted above and set in admin layout options most recent to display at the bottom

does "most_views" equate to the most highly rated images ? or just the ones that have been viewed most often ?

"Show recent photos in default location (bottom)? (if no, will display at top)" - have switched this to no and get Popular Images above and below the categories
switch to yes and get Recent then Popular below - what have i done wrong ?

Well you would need to remove the code to display most_views at the bottom of the index.php file

and get most popular at top (hooray) and nothing below - still can't manage to get most popular above categories and most recent below 
also is there anyway to get popular for a particular category in that category ?

That would mean altering the appropriate files notably same type of edits to showgallery.php

ok but if most_view = the most views ie most number of times loaded what variable calls the highest rating ie highest average vote ?
