how do i remove title from thumb?

on the index page of a category, not the main index page, how do i remove the text file name of the thumb, underneath every thumb?
it's screwing up my page width when titles are long...

You would edit the features.tmpl and remove the $ptitle[$x] variable

i was hoping it would be a simple selection in the admin panel...

where do i find this file?
