category icons/avatars...

Hi,

I can't seem to get the category icons / avatars working. I have an image set us INDEX THUMB and also category avatar settings in admin CP is set to enable category icons but still nothing.

Is that picture your tagging belong to the category your tagging it for? This is the limitation of the avatar tag it must exist in the cat your tagging it for.

This is what I want to know too Chuck, how do you do it? I mean put an icon in front of each category so people would know more the category may contain and we would have a nice better layout.

In DefenceTalk.com gallery , http://www.defencetalk.com/pictures/ , how he can put all the airplanes , tanks and stuff in front of each category he created?

To use the category avatar there must be a picture which exists in that category as stated.

As admin you view the picture and click the MAKE INDEX THUMB link and it will now be your category avatar.
